To meet the strict 2008 US EPA/CARB importation restrictions, all SkyHawk motors are now equipped with a catalytic converter exhaust muffler which incorporates a Palladium Cartridge filter imported from Germany. Although the standard bicycle engine has rarely emitted a visible exhaust with synthetic oil, it is a beautiful thing to see the new Palladium Cartridge filter exhaust completely capture excess atmospheric pollutants.

Be sure to check with your local and state laws before riding on public streets. The laws can vary from state to state for riding motorized bicycles on the road. The 48cc engines are the only ones legal for street use in most areas. In some states you may still need a license for the 48cc engine.
